Junior forward Lavoy Allen (Morrisville, Pa./Pennsbury) helped lead the Temple men's basketball team to a 2-1 week. He scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished a career-high seven assists in a 66-46 win over Ball State (Nov. 24). He followed that with a season-high 18 points, on eight-of-nine shooting from the field, and pulled down 10 rebounds in a 61-50 win over Virginia Tech (Nov. 27). Allen ended the week with a nine-point, four-rebound effort in a 55-48 loss to St. John's (Nov. 28). He averaged 14.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 58.8 percent from the field.
