Former Temple women’s soccer standout Paula Jurewicz joined the Owls as an assistant coach in 2016.
Jurewicz was an accomplished player for Temple, starting a total of 69 games for the Owls during her four-year career. The defender only missed seven games on the Temple back line, all coming during her junior year due to injury. In four years, Jurewicz totaled 15 points, with all five of her career goals going for game-winners.
Jurewicz was not only known for her excellence on the field but off of it as well. During the 2015 season, she received American Athletic Conference All-Academic honors, as well as a spot on Temple’s Director’s Honor Roll for having a GPA of over 3.0.
