Philadelphia - Forty-three of Temple University's student-athletes have been honored by the Atlantic 10 for their excellence in the classroom as well as on the athletic fields. The Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll award is given to those student-athletes who receive a GPA of a 3.5 or better for the past semester.
The women's rowing team placed seven members on the honor roll while six members from the men's and women's track team received accolades. The Cherry and White had members from 13 teams on the spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Overall, 1,404 student-athletes in the Atlantic 10 were honored. Below is the list of the 43 Owls who were named to the 2008 spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
