Sherryta Freeman is in her fourth year at Temple and her second year as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services at Temple.

Freeman oversees all aspects of the department's compliance efforts with conference and NCAA rules and regulations. She works to educate coaches, administrators and student-athletes in regards to new rules and regulations, and assist with processing NCAA and conference waivers on behalf of student-athletes. She also oversees the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program.

The Hillside, NJ native arrived at Temple after serving as the assistant athletic director/compliance at Dartmouth, where she earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from in 2001. Freeman was a member of two women's basketball NCAA Tournament teams. She earned her master's degree in sport management at the University of Massachusetts, completing her coursework in May, 2003.
