Owls Host Ball State on Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Oct. 10

PHILADELPHIA – Join the Temple Owls and the city of Philadelphia's Department of Recreation on Saturday, October 10 for the PINKOUT in South Philly.

The Temple Athletics Department is calling on all runners of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run – and the general public – to be a part of a special event in support of breast cancer awareness. Prior to the Temple-Ball State football game that day, a special one-mile run/walk will take place around Lincoln Financial Field.

Registration is only $25 per person and includes all of the following:

- One mile run/walk around Lincoln Financial Field (10 a.m.). Check-in time begins at 8 a.m. (11th Street side of stadium). Wear pink and show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness.

- Access to the pre-game Block Party in the Head House Plaza area of Lincoln Financial Field (11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.). The Block Party features live rock bands, clowns, face painters, interactive games for kids, area radio stations, and more.

- Lower Level Sideline Game Ticket to the Temple-Ball State football game (1 p.m.). The first 5,000 fans will receive a pink pom-pon, sponsored by TD Bank and City View Pizza.

A portion of every registration fee will benefit the Temple Cancer Center.

To register in advance, patrons are encouraged to visit: www.broadstreetrun.com.

Registrants are also accepted the morning of the game (CASH ONLY).

Riding a two-game winning streak, Temple (2-2, 2-0 MAC) returns home to host Ball State (0-5, 0-1 MAC) for the first time in MAC play. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
