Volleyball Heads to Big 5 Tournament This Weekend

Owls set to take on Penn, La Salle and Villanova at the Palestra
PHILADELPHIA (9/3/09) - The Temple volleyball team is set for its second weekend of action this season, as the Owls will head across town to Penn for the Big 5 Tournament at the Palestra.
Temple will match up with Penn on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., and then La Salle at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Villanova at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Friday night match with Penn will mark the season opener for the Quakers, while Temple comes in with a record of 1-2, most recently sweeping St. John's 3-0 on Aug. 29. La Salle comes into the weekend with a record of 1-3, while Villanova is perfect so far at 4-0.
