PHILADELPHIA – For the second consecutive season, Temple men's soccer senior midfielder J.T. Noone has been named to the NSCAA/adidas Men's College Scholar All-America University Division first team. Noone is one of seven players to earn a repeat performance on the team.
Boasting a 3.67 cumulative grade point average as an economics major, Noone was also named to the ESPN The Magazine Men's Soccer Academic All-America University Division Second Team and Academic All-Conference team.
A team co-captain, Noone led the Owls in assists (7) for the third straight year, leaving Temple as the all-time leader in that category (26). Combined with 12 career goals, he amassed 50 points during his tenure.
The Harrisburg, Pa. native (Central Dauphin) can add this to his already impressive resume. Recently named to the NSCAA/adidas Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team, he was honored as an Atlantic 10 All-Conference first team member, as well as a Soccer Six All-Star.
More soccer awaits Noone, as he was offered an invitation to the 2010 adidas MLS Player Combine, held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. January 8-12.
