TU Women's Basketball out to dinner in Norfolk
NORFOLK, Va. - As the Temple women's basketball team prepares for its NCAA First Round game vs. James Madison on Sunday, the Owls have been treated to gorgeous weather and a top-rate facility in the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
On Friday night after arriving on the bus from Philadelphia, the team (pictured) enjoyed dinner at the Aberdeen Barn in Norfolk. Saturday was the Owls' first trip over to the arena, where a press conference was followed by a one-hour practice session on the main floor.
Temple finished up practice for the day at an alternate facility, and then returned to the Sheraton Waterside hotel to get ready for dinner at California Pizza Kitchen in a nearby mall.
The Cherry and White will play on Sunday vs. JMU on ESPN. Tip-off is expected to be approximately 2:30 p.m., or a half hour following the conclusion of UConn vs. Southern.
