Men's Varsity 4 Finishes Fourth in Petite Final

CAMDEN, NJ - The Temple men's Varsity 4 placed fourth in the petite final of the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships Saturday on the Cooper River to conclude the 2009-10 crew season for the Owls.
The Owls' Varsity 4 of James Barr (stroke), Scott Waters (3-seat), Jason Cartwright (2-seat), Brendan Cunningham (bow) and Don Norris (cox) finished the race .48 seconds behind second place Penn and a mere .13 seconds behind third-place Syracuse. Yale won the race by over three seconds with George Washington and Princeton placing fifth and sixth, respectively.
