PHILADELPHIA –The Temple University football team hosted its fifth annual Fan Fest on Wednesday evening at Lincoln Financial Field's Headhouse Plaza following the team's media day activities on the field.
More than 3,000 fans attended the event which featured autograph and photo opportunities with the players and coaching staff as well as live music, Hooter the Owl, the cheerleaders, and the Diamond Gems Dance Team. Face painters, the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels, an inflatable zone, and a dunk tank also enhanced the day's activities.
Earlier in the day, head coach Al Golden held a press conference with Villanova head coach Andy Talley and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter to promote the season opening Mayor's Cup game between the schools on Friday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
Individual game tickets will be available via the Lincoln Financial Field Box Office and Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Temple football season ticket and individual game ticket information can also be found online at www.OwlsTix.com.
