Temple's eight seniors competed in McGonigle Hall for the final time in a regular season meet on Sunday and made the most of it, as they helped the No. 10 Owls win their third meet of the season with their first place score of 336.300. The Owls defeated Air Force (334.800) and SUNY Brockport (334.800). Senior Chris Mooney had his strongest performance of this season, as he participated as an all around competitor and earned first place with his score of 83.100.

The Owls took it to the floor first, where Alan Malone led them to a n event victory with his first place score of 14.800 on the mat. Brett Statman demonstrated a stellar performance as well, with the second-best score in the event of 14.100.

On pommel horse, Chris Mooney kept the Owls afloat through two events, as he took Temple's top score in the event with a 14.300. Air Force brought the running score to a narrow TU lead when it was completed, as the Falcons won on the apparatus 55.600-55.500.

Through rings, the competition continued to be close. 

Al-Rokh tied Air Force's Devin McNefee for first place with identical 14.600 tallies. Temple placed the most names toward the top of the leaderboard in the event, as Mooney and Taylor Brana notched score of 14.400.

Temple was clinging to a 168.700-166.500 lead going into the vault event, where Matt Martin's score of 15.200 stood out as the best score in the event. Brett Statman (14.200) and Jeff Zach (14.100) came second and third for Temple with their strong performances, to keep the Owls in control.

Brendan Williams put up an impressive showing on parallel bars with his second place overall score of 14.100. Brana took the third-best score in the event with his even 14.000.

In the final event for the Owls when they hit the horizontal bar, Logan Fiery earned the top Temple score (14.100), while Tighe placed second among Temple participants in the event (13.700)

Temple will head to Army for a dual-meet on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. with the Black Knights before taking part in Sunday's tri-meet with Army and Springfield.
