BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Representing Temple University and its women's gymnastics program, fifth-year competitor Katie Canning and senior Kaity Watson donned the Cherry and White leotards for one final time as they performed at the USAG Women's Individual Finals on Saturday afternoon at Harvey Hubbell Gymnasium.
Watson went out with style as she notched a sixth place score of 9.800 on the vault, which matched her career-best score on the apparatus.
Canning placed for an eighth place tie in the floor exercise, earning a score of 9.750 with her routine. Earlier in the day, she particplated in the balance beam final, where she scored 9.225.
