PHILADELPHIA – Rebecca Breland was the only Temple women's tennis player scheduled to play on Sunday at the Saint Joseph's Invitational, being held at Saint Joseph's University on Friday-Sunday, September 28-30.
Breland was to take on Karma Parbhu of Pittsburgh in the consolation final of Flight 2, but the sophomore withdrew from the match, giving Parbhu the win via walkover.
The Owls are back in action on October 12-13 at the Drexel Invitational.
