Philadelphia – Dan Scheck has been named the Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month for the month of October, 2013.
In seven games in October, goalkeeper Dan Scheck didn't lost a single game in net while playing every single minute for the Owls for a 3-0-4 record. Two of those wins were shutouts. In total, he only allowed six goals for a goals allowed average of .076. He made 31 saves on 37 shots on goal for a save percentage of 0.838.
Scheck has played every single minute in net for the Owls this season. Going into tomorrow's game, he is tenth in the nation with a save percentage of 0.855. He has only allowed 12 goals all year, and also has eight shutouts.
