Coaches vs. Cancer
This weekend marks the annual Coaches vs. Cancer suits and sneakers weekend, where head coach Fran Dunphy and more than 4,000 coaches will turn awareness into action by swapping their dress shoes for sneakers to finish the fight against cancer.
A collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the Coaches vs. Cancer program brings coaches, teams and fans together to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society by empowering basketball and other athletic coaches to save lives from cancer by leveraging their community leadership to support the Society.
Since the Coaches vs. Cancer program began more than 20 years ago, college and high school coaches across the country have joined the team to support the American Cancer Society, helping to raise more than $87 million to fund the fight.
