Women's Soccer Junior Kelly Farrell Selected as a Top 20 player in the American

PHILADELPHIA –Temple women's soccer junior Kelly Farrell was recently selected as the ninth best player in the American Athletic Conference by Top Drawer Soccer. Top Drawer Soccer is a recognized soccer publisher across the United States. The feature included the top 20 college soccer player rankings from each conference.
Farrell led the Owls in points with 20. She also led the Owls in goals (nine), shots on goal (22), and shots on goal percentage (.629) and also has two assists on the season. She made the American Conference weekly honor roll twice on Sept. 15 and Oct. 6 for her outstanding play.
"Kelly is a go-to player," said head coach Seamus O'Connor. "She was the player teams built game plans for. Her work rate is phenomenal and helped her score so many goals. She put a lot of pressure up front for us, and deserved recognition for what she did."
"I am extremely honored to be recognized as one of the top 20 players in the conference," said Kelly Farrell. "My goal coming into the season was to do everything I could so that I could leave the season with no regrets. Our conference is one of the best in the countries, so for me to be chosen for this list means the world to me. I am so thankful for having such a hardworking and dedicated team. We had one of the best season's Temple women's soccer has ever had, and I am so lucky to be a part of that. Our success this season as a team is one of the main reasons why I was able to have personal success."
