7.29.14 | Men's Soccer
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Temple men's soccer player Robert Sagel was named one the ten best standout Division I players in the Premier Development League (PDL).
Playing for Reading United AC, Sagel played in nine of the team's 15 games. The sophomore scored one goal in 753 minutes of action. He was unable to participate in each game for Reading United AC due to his participation along with fellow Temple Owl Miguel Polley at the U.S. Men's Under 20 Team Camp during May and July.
The PDL is comprised of 62 teams across the United States and Canada featuring players with a diverse background, ranging from players who live in the local area of their clubs to players all around the world. The summer league is considered to be the top-level men's amateur soccer league in the country.
