Basketball Teams Set to Debut October 22nd at Cherry & White Night

PHILADELPHIA – The 2015-16 Temple University basketball teams will make their public debut at Cherry & White Night on Thursday, October 22. The free event, which is open to the public, will be held at the Liacouras Center beginning at 6:15 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
For Temple students, Cherry & White Night will be the first opportunity to pick up a free ticket to the Temple-Notre Dame football game on Oct. 31. Students must have their Temple ID with them to get a ticket. One ticket per Temple student will be given out. The tickets are all available on a first come first serve basis, based on availability.

The women's team begins its season at home at the Liacouras Center on Friday, November 13, facing Florida. The men's team will face #1 North Carolina in Annapolis, Md., the same day, and will play its first home game on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. against Delaware. The game will be the second in a doubleheader, with the women playing Saint Joseph's at 2 p.m. The two teams will play a second doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 19 against Delaware State (women at 1 p.m., men at 4 p.m.).
