Field Hockey Player Spotlights: Kayla Laughman and Michelle Walsh

During each week of the 2015 Temple field hockey season, two student-athletes have been featured for "Player Spotlights" on OwlSports.com. The final spotlights of the year will help Owl fans get to know senior Kayla Laughman and junior Michelle Walsh.

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Teleport. If you weren't playing field hockey in college, what would be your back up sport? Soccer. What TV show are you hooked on? Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, True Detective. What is your biggest fear? Megan Hufnagel's feet, and snakes. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cajun Chicken Pasta from Chili's! Early bird or night owl? As long as I get a nap during the day I'm happy. Do you have any pets? Names? An extremely fat cat named Puhda. Vacation at the mountains or beach? Beach. What is your favorite part of being a member of Temple field hockey? The friendships I have gained through my teammates.	If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be? I'd want to do PR for a well-known restaurant. If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? A beach house. Favorite candy? Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Favorite exercise in the weight room? Abs. If you could be a professional singer, actress or dancer, which one would you choose? Dancer, it is something I've always wished I could do. What is something your mom or dad taught you? To never give up even when times get tough. If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be? I would want people to not be so consumed in the media and just live their lives without all the distractions. What's a place you would like to travel to in the next five years? Rome Favorite sport to watch on TV (other than field hockey)? Baseball.
