Women's Gymnastics Reveals Completed New Practice Facility

PHILADELPHIA – Women's gymnastics held its first official practice today in its brand new facility. The practice gym is still located in McGonigle Hall and includes new equipment for all four events, foam pits and staff office space.
As the Owls break in the new equipment, they keep their eyes focused on their season opener on Jan. 3. The team will travel to Central Michigan University for a tri-meet featuring the Chippewas and the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Blugold that is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
Prior to that meet, the Owls will hold a second intrasquad meet in the new facility. Gymnasts will exhibition their routines one last time before their first official competition in 2016.
