Men's Soccer Announces 2015 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's soccer team recently announced its 2015 schedule. The Owls' slate is highlighted by a challenging non-conference schedule, before the team heads into their third season of play in the American Athletic Conference.
After two exhibition games, the Owls open the season with a pair of road matches. Temple will play at Manhattan on Friday, August 28, and then continue the road trip with a game at Northeastern on Sunday, August 30.
The Owls open at home on September 4 against Penn State, which kicks off a three-match home stand that also includes Rider (September 8) and Yale (September 13). Temple then plays local-rival Villanova on September 16, before Philadelphia Soccer Six matches at Penn (September 20) and against La Salle (September 23) at home.
The team goes on the road to open conference play, heading to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats on September 26. The Owls then close their non-conference schedule with a September 30 match at Delaware.
Temple plays the bulk of its conference slate in October, hosting USF (October 3), Memphis (October 10), UConn (October 21), and Cincinnati (October 24), while going on the road for matches against UCF (October 7), Tulsa (October 17), and SMU (October 31).
The American Athletic Conference Tournament kicks off with the quarterfinal round on Saturday, November 7 at campus sites. Semifinals (November 13) and Finals (November 15) will be hosted by the top seed.
