Argentine Guard Ayan Nunez de Carvalho Signs Scholarship Letter to Play Men's Basketball

PHILADELPHIA - Ayan Nunez de Carvalho, a member of the 2014 Argentina U17 National Team, has signed a scholarship letter to play men's basketball at Temple University. Â
"We are excited to have Ayan join the Temple Basketball family," said Temple head coach Fran Dunphy. Â "He comes from a wonderful family and continues a line of guards from Argentina that includes Pepe Sanchez and Juan Fernandez."Â

The 6-5 guard from Parana, Argentina, averaged 10 points over seven games in the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships held in Dubai. Nunez de Carvalho graduated from Escuela Normal Superior Jose Maria Torres school.
