Field Hockey Player Spotlights: Jessika Daniels and Paige Gross

During each week of the 2015 Temple field hockey season, two student-athletes will be featured for "Player Spotlights" on OwlSports.com. The sixth player spotlights of the year will help Owl fans get to know freshman Jessika Daniels and junior Paige Gross.

If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be? For everyone to be nice to each other. Do you have siblings? Names, ages? Jimmy (20), Jacqueline (17) and RJ (14). What is your biggest fear? Being alone in the dark. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? PB&J. Favorite candy? Gummy Bears. What's a place you would like to travel to in the next 5 years? France. What TV shows are you hooked on? So You Think You Can Dance, Dance Moms, Criminal Minds and Pretty Little Liars. What's one word to describe yourself? Loud. What is your favorite part about being a member of Temple field hockey? Being a part of a family. If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Monkey. Do you have any pets? Names? Black Lab named Daisy. Early bird or night owl? Night owl. What is your favorite place to eat on campus? Chipotle.	Why did you start playing field hockey? I was in sixth grade and I wanted to play a fall sport, but I am way too short to play volleyball so I tried field hockey. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Shape-shifting. Do you have siblings? Names, ages? Chelsea (25), Megan (22), Alex (20) and TJ (17). What is your favorite place to eat on campus? Bagel Hut. If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? The big yellow house in downtown Bethlehem for my mom that she loves. If you were an animal, what animal would you be? Without a doubt, a lion. If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be? I want to be the Law. What is your favorite part about being a member of Temple field hockey? The memories and friendships we make on and off the field. Those will stay with me forever. They are my family. What is something your mom or dad taught you? If you want something, you have to work every day to earn it. Nothing is ever handed to you. Do you have any pets? Names? We have a wizard living with us at Temple. Her name is Katie Foran. What's one word to describe yourself? Unpredictable. Favorite candy? Reese's Eggs (not cups, big difference in peanut butter to chocolate ratio, it is scientifically proven). Favorite exercise in the weight room? Abs. Abs for days.
