During each week of the 2015 Temple field hockey season, two student-athletes will be featured for "Player Spotlights" on OwlSports.com. The eighth player spotlights of the year will help Owl fans get to know freshman Nellie Doyle and senior Sarah Deck.

If you won a million dollars, what's the first thing you would buy? I'd buy my parents a house in Florida! If you were an animal, what animal would you be? A giraffe. Do you have siblings? Names, ages? I'm one of four. I have an older brother Leo who is 29, an older sister Therese who is 25, and an older sister Molly who is 23. What is your biggest fear? Heights. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chicken parmesan. What is your proudest accomplishment? Getting into Temple and having the opportunity to play for the field hockey team! What's a place you would like to travel to in the next 5 years? Bora Bora. What TV show are you hooked on? Law and Order SVU. What's one word to describe yourself? Outgoing. If you could be in any profession after college, what would it be? Teaching young children. Do you have any pets? Names? I have two dogs, their names are Doc and Bear. Why did you start playing hockey? My two older sisters played and they urged me to play! Â | Why did you start playing field hockey? Because I wanted to do something different from my older siblings. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Telekinesis. Do you have siblings? Names, ages? Erin, 29. Buddy, 28. Geoff, 26. Shannon (twin), 21. What is your favorite place to eat on campus? Halal food trucks. If you could change one thing about the world today, what would it be? Prejudice and/or intolerance. If you were an animal, what animal would you be? A monkey. What is something your mom or dad taught you? Don't be afraid to go above and beyond. Do you have any pets? Names? Holly (cat), Logger (dog). What's one word to describe yourself? Persistent. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Lasagna. Favorite exercise in the weight room? Standing long jumps. What is your proudest accomplishment? Being recruited by Temple. Â |
