FWAA Names Owls Football National "Team of the Week"

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple Owls have earned the AutoNation Football Writers Association of America "Team of the Week" for the first week of the 2015 season. The Owls received the recognition for their 27-10 victory over in-state rival Penn State before a record sellout crowd of 69,176 at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday.
The Owls will look to improve to 2-0 in their American Athletic Conference opener against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday. Kickoff at Nippert Stadium is set for 8:00 P.M.Â
