Promotions Schedule, New Concession Items Announced for Temple Basketball Season

PHILADELPHIA – In conjunction with its 20th Anniversary Season, the Liacouras Center and Temple Athletics have announced changes to its concession area and a full schedule of exciting promotions for the 2016-17 Owls men's basketball season.
Starting with Temple's opening game Friday, Nov. 11 against Philadelphia Big 5 rival La Salle, fans will be able to indulge at two new concession locations with Philadelphia favorite, Tony Luke's, opening up a cheesesteak stand at Section 106 and Pita Chip launching a mobile vendor stand. In addition, the Liacouras Center will be introducing new boneless wings (Jerk, BBQ, Mild) at concession stands and Miller Lite will also be opening a brand new bar called the "Owl's Nest" within the arena.
Temple's promotion schedule starts with the opener as the first 4,000 fans to enter the Liacouras Center will receive a free Temple Basketball schedule magnet. Kids ages 14 and under can come onto the court and score a basket following the Tulsa game (Jan. 14), while the always popular Birthday celebration for Hooter the Owl will take place at the USF Game (Feb. 5). In addition, the annual White Out (UConn-Feb. 19) and Cherry Out (UCF-Feb. 22) will also be held during the season.

Nov. 20, 2 pm - Manhattan: Ring of Honor; Canned Food Drive (bring canned food item to support Philabundance and receive $5 off tickets)
Dec. 3, 4 pm - Penn: Book Drive (donate a book at the game to support CHOP and receive $5 off tickets)
Dec. 7, 7:30 pm - George Washington: Donate a new, unwrapped toy at the game to support Toys for Tots and receive $5 off tickets
Dec. 17, 2 pm - NJIT: Dollar Hot Dog Day; Ring of Honor; Pictures with Santa on the Concourse; Hoops for Holidays (call 215-204-TIXX to purchase and donate tickets to area military members and their families)
Dec. 22, 7 pm - Yale: $2 off any concession item at the Owl's Nest
Dec. 28, 9 pm - Cincinnati: All You Can Eat Special (All Beef Hot Dogs, Chips or Popcorn and Soft Beverage Game Ticket – All for as low as $25).
