NSCAA Selects Two Owls for NSCAA All-East Region Teams

PHILADELPHIA – For the second season in a row, Jorge Gomez Sanchez and Carlos Moros Gracia have been selected to NSCAA All-East Region Teams. Gomez Sanchez was placed on the first team with Moros Gracia being selected to the second team.
The pair of second-year Spanish players have collected a plethora of recognition for the 2016 season. To date, both Owls have earned First-Team All-Conference honors and spots on the ECAC Division I All-Star Team, not to mention numerous weekly honors from both the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Soccer Six.
The final season for Gomez Sanchez placed him in a tie for fifth all-time in career goals and fifth in single-season goals with 14 in 2016. His 62 career points places him ninth in the all-time rankings.
Moros Gracia has continually been a driving force against opponents in the back line. Hardly missing a single minute in two seasons, the defender is credited with helping to allow only three goals in an unbeaten home season in 2016. Often finding himself as a key player during set pieces, Moros Gracia has also collected four goals and two assists in two seasons at Temple.
