Signing Day Live | NLI Book | Press Conference 

· The 2016 season will get underway on Saturday, September 3, when Temple hosts Army at Lincoln Financial Field. The other non-conference home games will be on September 10 (Stony Brook) and 24 (Charlotte). The rest of the home slate includes four games against American Athletic Conference teams - Cincinnati, East Carolina, USF and SMU.
 
· The Owls will begin Spring practices on Monday, March 14. Practices will continue through mid-April. Spring ball will conclude with the annual Cherry & White game at Edberg Olson Hall's Chodoff Field on Saturday, April 16.
 
· The 2016 class of 25 players hail from eight states – Pennsylvania (10), New Jersey (6) , Florida (3), Maryland (2), Connecticut (1), New York (1), Tennessee (1), Virginia (1).
 
· Three players - Shaun Bradley, Darian Bryant and Taiyir Wilson - have already enrolled and begun classes at Temple. Bradley participated in 2015 summer camp with the Owls.
 
· As a member of the St. Joe's Prep Hawks, Benny Walls is familiar with the Owls' Edberg Olson Hall practice facility. The Hawks have been practicing at 10th & Diamond for the past three seasons.
 
· Seven recruits are already connected to the existing Temple football team: Matt Hennessy was a teammate of Frank Nutile at Don Bosco Prep; Tyliek Raynor rushed behind Aaron Ruff and Gordon Thomas at Imhotep; Anthony Russo attended the same high school as Nate L. Smith and Colin Thompson (Archbishop Wood); Amir Tyler and Chappell Russell were the top two rushers at Lakewood in 2014; Benny Walls was a teammate of Todd Jones at St. Joe's Prep; Greg Webb was teammates with Kareem Ali, Jr. and Adonis Jennings at Timber Creek; Kenny Yeboah went to Parkland High as did student assistant Rob Dvoracek.
