Track & Field Travels to Baltimore for the Morgan State University Legacy Meet

PHILADELPHIA – Coming off a fifth place team finish at the Princeton Invitational, Temple women's track and field will travel to Baltimore, Md. for the annual Morgan State University Legacy Meet. On Saturday, April 23, 21 Owls will compete in 13 different events.
Returning to the track this weekend, Sylvia Wilson will be competing in the 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdles. The indoor 60-meter hurdles conference champion last competed at the Colonial Relays in early April where she placed third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.13.
Bionca St. Fleur will also be competing this weekend after a weekend off the track. St. Fleur will be competing in the long jump and the 200-meter run.
Katie Pinson, who is coming off a record-setting weekend at Princeton, will be running the 1500-meter race on Saturday morning. Pinson last ran the 1500-meter at the Raleigh Relays where she set a personal-best time of 4:37.20.
The Owls will be running two relay teams, as well. The 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays will each have one group of Temple runners featured.
The high and long jumps will kick off the day at 10:00 am. Crystal Jones will be back at the high jump after a first place finish last weekend and the long jump will feature St. Fleur, Imani Shell and Jimmia McCluskey.
