Izzy Rapacz Named Offensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball senior Izzy Rapacz was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Rapacz's nod is the first of the season for the Owls.Â
LEADING THE OFFENSE
> Rapacz hit .448 with 37 kills in two matches, the Owls' top offensive player in both matches.
> Against USF on Friday, Rapacz led all players with 12 kills, hitting .308 with three blocks in a sweep.
> On Sunday, she keyed a stunning Temple comeback with a season-high 25 kills, hitting a massive .537.
> In the deciding fifth set, Rapacz had four kills, including the final two points of the win.

> For the week, she averaged 4.62 kills, 1.00 digs, and 0.62 blocks per set.
TWO ROAD WINS
> The right side hitter led the Owls to a pair of important road victories.
