Women's Basketball Hosts Saint Joseph's in Big Five Clash on Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team looks to go 2-0 in the Big 5, hosting Saint Joseph's on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at McGonigle Hall. 

SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Temple is 4-2 on the season, 2-2 at home and 1-0 on the road to start the year.
> Tanaya Atkinson leads the Owls, averaging a double-double of 23.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
> Freshman Mia Davis averages 9.3 points and 9.0 boards per game.
> Freshman Emani Mayo averages 8.0 points per game, while classmate Desiree Oliver averages 7.5 points and 3.0 assists.
> Senior Khadijah Berger averages 5.5 points and 3.0 assists per game.
> Freshman Breanna Perry adds 4.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per outing.
> As a team, Temple shoots 39.8% from the field and 25.4% from three.

LAST TIME OUT
> Temple dropped a 64-48 game to visiting Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon. 
> Temple's offense went cold, shooting just 25% from the field (15-60), including going just 1-14 (7.1%) in the fourth quarter.
> The Owls forced 23 Ole Miss turnovers, but Temple was out-rebounded 47-36.
> Tanaya Atkinson turned in her fifth double-double in six games, leading the Owls with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals.
