Morgan Glassford Earns Second Straight BIG EAST Weekly Honor

NEW YORK - For the second week in a row, Temple senior Morgan Glassford has been named the BIG EAST Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week after helping lead the Owls to another pair of wins.
In a 13-10 win at La Salle on March 2, Glassford totaled two goals, two assists, five ground balls, seven draw controls and a caused turnover. She followed that with two goals, three ground balls and four draw controls in a 12-5 win against UMBC on March 4, bringing her weekly total to four goals, two assists, six points, eight ground balls and 11 draw controls.
Glassford currently ranks 19th in NCAA Division I with 5.43 draw controls per game, and ranks third all-time at Temple with 139 career draws.
The Owls, 6-1 overall and winners of four straight games, will be back in action hosting Bucknell at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 12.
