CINCINNATI, OH. – Temple women's tennis suffered a second loss for the weekend when they faced off against Cincinnati and fell 4-1. Yana Khon came away with a big singles win and the duo of Monet Stuckey-Willis and Mariana Bedon had a victory in doubles play.
Alina Abdurakhimova and Khon played in the first doubles position but fell to Bearcat duo Kelly Poggensee-Wei and Lauren Bellinger. After Stuckey-Willis and Bedon's 7-5 win in the second position, Anais Nussaume and Dina Karina fell to Caroline Morton and Antonella Bramato.
Opening up singles play, Abdurakhimova had a long battle with Bellinger that ended unfinished. Galina Chernykh's matchup against Bramato also did not finish.
