PHILADELPHIA- The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced today the members of the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society. Temple's Tom Bradway and Brendan McGowan were selected to be part of this honorary group this year.

Bradway, a redshirt junior from Linwood, N.J., received his degree this past Fall. In 2014, he was selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and was put on the President's Honor Roll. Bradway has been a key member to the Owls' special teams success, as he has played in every game the past two seasons as the holder on FG/PATs. He transferred to Temple in 2014 after one year at Lafayette.

McGowan, from Hazelton Pa, received his degree in finance last spring and is currently enrolled as a graduate student. In 2016, McGowan was a semifinalist for NFF Campbell Award, and was on both the Rimington Award and the Wuerffel Award Watch Lists. McGowan was a crucial member of the Owls' offense being part of a 2016 offensive line that helped running backs Jahad Thomas and Ryquell Armstead become the only duo in the nation to rush for 900+ and 13+ touchdowns each.

The 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. A total of 1,089 players from 297 schools qualified for membership in the society's 11th year, both new single-year records in the history of the program.
