Pro Owls: Gymnastics' Victoria Reggiani
6.28.17 | Women's Gymnastics
PHILADELPHIA -- As part of Temple's #ProOwls series, this summer OwlSports.com will feature Q&A's with recently graduated student-athletes who have stepped out into the work force. We caught up with Victoria Reggiani a four-year member of the Owls' gymnastics team. Reggiani recently started a job as a junior sales associate for Legends.
1.) What is your job title and what does it entail both day-to-day and long term?
I am a Junior Sales Associate for Legends at One World Observatory. This is a full-time position in marketing.
2.) How did your major help prepare you for your current role?
My major helped me a lot in my current role, I felt ready for the interview process and I felt prepared with my background of experiences I had from my internships and industry related experiences that was required prior to graduation.Â
3.) What are your favorite and maybe less favorite things about working full-time?
My favorite things about working full-time is the structured hours I work weekly, not having to dedicate my weekends to work, getting a salary instead of getting paid by an hourly wage, and room for promotion within the company.
4.) What parts of being a Temple student-athlete are helping you now in the "real world?"
I believe my work ethic, time management, dedication and competitive nature is helping me now in the real-world and being a Temple student-athlete has a huge part with that. Â
5.) What advice would you give your former and younger teammates about preparing for life after graduation?
My advice would be to be persistent and don't stop looking until you get what you want. You have to do your due diligence and do your research to get where you want. Never settle and aim big because you never know what opportunity may present itself!Â
