7.26.17 | Men's Basketball
PHILADELPHIA - ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the tenth annual Gildan Charleston Classic, and Temple will open its quest for the eight-team tournament title against Old Dominion on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 p.m. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Owls and the Monarchs. The game will be shown on ESPN3.
Temple will play either Auburn or Indiana State in its second game of the tournament, held at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C., on Nov. 17 (11 am/1:30 pm) with the final round taking place on Nov. 19. The rest of the field includes Clemson, Dayton, Hofstra and Ohio.
This is the third time the Owls will compete in the Gildan Charleston Classic. Temple won its first two games of the 2008 tournament before falling to Clemson in the championship. In 2013, the Owls dropped its opener to the Tigers and then won its next two to place fifth in the field.
The Owls return a trio of double figure scorers in junior guard Shizz Alston, Jr. (13.9 ppg, 131 assists), senior forward Obi Enechionyia (13.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and sophomore guard Quinton Rose (10.1 ppg) from last year's 16-16 squad. Redshirt senior point guard Josh Brown is also back after sitting out last year due to an Achilles injury.

Fans can purchase an all-session baseline or upper level ticket for $90 (regularly $100) or premium sideline general admission seat for $100 (regularly $115).
