8.25.17 | Field Hockey

> The Hawks took a 3-0 lead just three minutes into the second half on the second goal of the game by freshman Emily Henry who collected a rebound off a penalty corner shot.

Quotable
> "I think a defining factor of any team is how you play defense, and we were just very weak in our defense all across the field in every line. We gave them too many chances in the midfield to build their attack…we need to have a team attacking mindset and a team defense mindset. We got a little bit too individual in different areas of the field which really kept us on our heels a bit." – Temple head coach Marybeth Freeman
