ESPN Announces Start Times for Thursday Night Games

PHILADELPHIA - ESPN has announced the start time for both Temple Thursday night games this season. The Owls will head on the road to take on USF on Thursday, Sept. 21, for a 8 p.m. start time. Later in the season, the 2016 American Athletic Conference Championship rematch will take place on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. when Navy comes to Lincoln Financial Field. Both games will air on ESPN.
In last season's contests, the Owls took down the Bulls, 46-30, at Lincoln Financial Field and are 2-1 all-time in the series. Temple also took down the Midshipmen in the teams only matchup last season, 34-10, en route to Temple's first ever American Athletic Conference Championship. The all-time series is tied at 6-6.
