Golf Looks to Continue Hot Start at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

QUECHEE, Vt. – Fresh off its season-opening win at the Cornell Invitational, Temple Golf travels to the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge this weekend for a 36-hole, two-day tournament held at the 6,765 par-72 Highland Course at the Quechee Club. The Owls will tee off Saturday with the final round Sunday.
Keys to the Tournament
> The Owls will be looking for more of the consistent play that helped them capture the 16-team Cornell Invitational title.
> Redshirt junior John Barone posted three consecutive one-under rounds of 70 to place second at Cornell.
> Sophomore Marty McGuckin, who had his best finish as an Owl (+1, 10th) at Cornell while playing as an individual, will be in the five-man lineup.
> The rest of the Temple lineup consists of juniors Trey Wren and Gary McCabe and freshman Dawson Anders.

> Temple's highest finish at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge is fourth in 2014.
> The Owls will be looking for their first consecutive tournament wins since the spring of 1992 when Hall of Fame coach John MacDonald's charges won a TU record four straight outings.
