Lacrosse Plays First Road Game at Monmouth on Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA - Coming off a season-opening, 12-8 win vs. Rutgers, Temple lacrosse will now play its first road game of the year at Monmouth on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. The Owls (1-0) and the Hawks (0-1) are meeting for just the second time in program history.

Scouting Temple
> The Owls got off to a strong start in 2018 with a 12-8, season-opening win at home vs. region rival Rutgers.
> Senior Nicole Barretta added a career-high four assists to four goals for a career-high eight total points, while fellow senior Kira Gensler also scored a career-high four goals in the win over the Scarlet Knights. The hat trick was the second of Gensler's career, and the fifth for Barretta.
> The Owls will play 11 of their 17 regular-season games at Howarth Field, including a stretch of five straight in March.
> Temple is coming off a 13-5 season that saw the Owls make their second-straight appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament since joining the league as an associate member in 2014. They fell 21-9 to #2 Florida in the BIG EAST Semifinals.
