PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team will host conference rival UCF on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at McGonigle Hall. The game will be broadcast live by the American Digital Network.

PLAY4KAY
> Temple will be wearing special pink and gray uniforms during the game, in honor of breast cancer awareness.
> The game is a part of the "Play4Kay" movement to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer fund.
> Play4Kay is an opportunity for a nation of players and coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, and in communities.
> The movement is named after Kay Yow, former head coach at NC State who passed away in 2009.

SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Temple is 10-13 overall, with a 2-8 record in American Athletic Conference play.
> Temple is led by senior Tanaya Atkinson, who averages team-best totals of 22.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game with 63 total assists -- a team high.
> Freshman Mia Davis is second on the team with 11.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per outing. 
> Rookie Emani Mayo averages 8.3 points per game to rank third.
> Freshman Desiree Oliver adds 7.4 points and 2.5 assists per game, recently making her first career start.
> As a team, Temple shoots 38.6% from the field and 30.6% from three.
> The Owls have slightly out-rebounded opponents, but have a negative turnover margin (-2.2).

LAST TIME OUT
> Tulane used a 12-3 run midway through the fourth quarter to create all the separation needed, as the Owls fell 69-65 on the road.
> Tulane's 12-3 run gave the Green Wave a 10-point cushion that would stand.
> Temple got the lead down to four on a put-back from freshman Mia Davis, but time was not on Temple's side, as Tulane held for the win.
> Tanaya Atkinson tallied 23 points with eight rebounds to lead Temple in both categories.
> Davis finished her night with 13 points and six rebounds.
> Mykia Jones tallied nine points, while Desiree Oliver and Lena Niang each had six.

> UCF held #1 UConn to its lowest scoring output in a 55-37 loss on Wednesday evening.
