Transferred to Temple in the fall of 2011 … has two years of eligibility remaining … received a special waiver from the NCAA ... eligible to play immediately for the Owls.

2011: Played in all 13 games with seven starts at tackle … also played on the punt return unit … had 18 tackles on the season, including 2.0 TFL, and two break-ups … had three tackles in the bowl win over Wyoming … had three tackles in the win over Army … made two solo stops in the win over Miami … had three tackles, a seven-yard sack, and a fumble recovery at Ohio … received the starting nod against Bowling Green, Buffalo, and Ball State … had a break-up at Bowling Green … had a solo stop and a break-up in the shutout of Buffalo … had three tackles in the shutout of Ball State … added two solo tackles, including a TFL, in the win at Maryland … had a solo tackle against Penn State … saw action in the win over Villanova.

College: Played in 2010 for coach Doc Holiday at Marshall University … DL coach was Sean Cronin … had 4.5 sacks in 2009 … redshirted in 2008 as a true freshman under coach Mark Snyder.

High School: Three-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com ... ranked as the No. 51 strong side defensive end in the country on Rivals.com ... third-team All-State honoree … as a senior in 2007, had 77 tackles and nine sacks as team went 8-4 en route to the third round of the playoffs … finished with 8.5 sacks.... played in the City of Houston All-Star Game.
