PHILADELPHIA - T.J. DiLeo and Andrew "Scootie" Randall have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Temple University on men's basketball scholarships, announced Owls' head coach Fran Dunphy.

"We are excited to bring in two quality local players to the Temple family," said Dunphy. "T.J. and Scootie are not just tremendous basketball players, but quality individuals from good families. They fit in nicely for our plans next season and beyond."

DiLeo, a 6-2 guard out of Cinnaminson High, averaged 23.9 points and six rebounds per game as senior in 2007-08. The Philadelphia Inquirer and Courier Post South Jersey Player of the Year, DiLeo set school records for points in a game (50) and season (692). A prolific three-point shooter, the Cinnaminson, N.J. native also set school marks for three-pointers in a game (9) and season (74). The son of Philadelphia 76ers Senior Vice President Tony DiLeo, he also was a standout soccer player, earning first team all-South Jersey and second team all-State as a senior.

Randall, a 6-6 forward out of Philadelphia's Communications Tech, averaged 21.2 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as a senior. The Philadelphia native had an outstanding final season, earning 2008 PIAA State Player of the year honors as well as the Markward Award, given to the Philadelphia Public League Player of the Year. The all-time leading rebounder at Communications Tech, Randall helped his school to a 28-4 record in 2007-08. He is one of only 12 players to be named all-Public League in three seasons.
