PHILADELPHIA - Three more games have been added to the Temple University men’s basketball team’s television package, increasing the total number to 16 Owl games that will be televised during the 2008-09 season. Temple’s first two games of the Charleston Classic, Nov. 14 against East Tennessee State and Nov. 15 against either Charleston or SIU Edwardsville, will be televised by Comcast SportsNet while the Owls’ February 15 game at Duquesne has been picked up by CBS College Sports. It is the fifth game to air on that national network, bringing the defending Atlantic 10 Conference champion Owls’ total to 13 nationally-televised games in 2008-09. That marks the most regular season national television appearances since the 2001-02 squad also made 13.
