Temple has announced a two-year contract extension for head men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy that will keep the Owls' mentor at the University through the 2013-14 season. Dunphy, who is in his third season directing the Temple program, guided the Owls to the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Temple will take part in the Charleston Classic, a newly-created eight-team men's basketball tournament by ESPN Regional Television, Inc., (ERT) a subsidiary of ESPN. The Charleston Classic will be played Nov. 14-16 at the brand new Carolina First Center in Charleston, S.C. Read More >

Fran Dunphy, one of the most successful coaches in Philadelphia Big 5 history, is hosting his basketball camp from Monday, August 4 to Friday, August 8. Temple University's third-year head men's basketball coach will be hosting the Fran Dunphy Basketball Camp, which is open to boys and girls ages 7-17 and of all skill levels.
