PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University men's and women's crew competed at the Braxton Regatta on November 11 and finished in first place in five of their eight races.
In men's action, the novice 8 took first in their race with a time of 5:03.50 while the junior varsity also captured first with a time of 4:41.34. Varsity boat "A," the only men's boat not to finish in first, placed second with a time of 4:36.20 while boat "B" finished first with a time of 4:43.30.
In women's action, the novice 8 and the varsity 8 boat "B" finished in fourth place with time of 6:12.47 and 5:51.39 respectively. The Varsity 8 boat "A" placed first in their race with a time of 5:21.20 while the varsity 4 rowed to a first place victory with a time of 5:48.90.
