PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's crew continued its dominance of the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta by posting its 13th consecutive victory in the men's varsity heavyweight 8 grand final on May 12. The Owls posted a time of 5:39.7 over the 2,000 meter course to gain the victory. The Owls took control of the race from the beginning as they established a boat-length lead at the 1,500 meter mark and never looked back. Dowling claimed second place in a time of 5:43.1 and Marist was third in 5:53.3. "We don't take anything for granted," Temple head coach Gavin White said. "This is our home town. This is our house. We don't want anybody coming into out house and taking it. There's pride involved," he continued.
