MEN'S FRESHMAN FOUR CREW TAKES FIRST AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
 

 
 
 

 

 
 

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple University men's freshman four took first place in the grand finals of the Intercollegiate Rowing Association's (IRA's) National Championships held Saturday, June 1, 2002. The Owls had a time of 6:28.22.

The men's varsity 8 placed fourth in the petite finals with a time of 5:39.68 while the varsity four placed fourth in the third level finals with a time of 6:44.63.

In the overall point standings, the Cherry and White placed fourteenth with 106 points, edging out rival Dowling by 26 points.

The IRA competition was the final race for the Owls this season.
