PHILADELPHIA - Marcus McElhenney, a member of the Temple University men's crew was selected as a coxswain to participate with the Junior National team in Austria on July 26-28. McElhenney, who will enter his junior year this Fall, is one of only six coxswains to train for the competition. He has been a member of the varsity eight at Temple for the last two Dad Vail Regatta victories, continuing the Owls' dominance of the event it has won 13 consecutive times. If McElhenney, a Monsignor Bonner graduate and Lansdowne, Pa. native, does well he will go to Switzerland for the World Cup during the last week in August.
