PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University men's crew placed two boats in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta held October 30 on the Schuylkill River. The Owl crews placed 12th and 16th in the 22-crew event.
The Temple "A" crew, which placed 12th, was comprised of Mike Shisler (bow), TJ Burke (2-seat), Brian Campbell (3-seat), Tom Haubrich (4-seat), Joe Spencer(5-seat), Don Powers (6-seat), Bob Protesto (7-seat), Logan Hoffman (stroke) and Mike Fitzpatrick (coxswain).
The Temple "B" crew was comprised of Tim Malloy (bow), Chris Bushek (2-seat), Pat McMahon (3-seat), Mike McVeigh (4-seat), Bill Gennaro (5-seat), Dante Camarrata (6-seat), Matt Hanlin (7-seat), Andy Mantzoukas (stroke) and Carmen Conicelli (coxswain).
